Who we are:

We are the Church, building up the Body of Christ, one life at a time. Pineview Mennonite Church is affiliated with CMC (the Conservative Mennonite Conference) in Irwin, Ohio.  Click on the CMC Logo above, to view the CMC Statement of Theology.

Pineview Mennonite Church, established in 1938, was first known as the Mennonite Gospel Mission. The congregation first met in homes of families in the area around its present location on Swaffer Road. For ten years they met in various locations until the property was acquired and a building was constructed in 1950.

God has blessed over the years and additions were made when a new sanctuary was built in 1974 and a fellowship hall in 2001.  Pineview also maintains a cemetery for use by members of the church, which was established in 1984.

our mission

Our mission has been given us by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:18-20, which reads: "Jesus came near and said to them, 'All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'" We seek to pursue the fulfillment of this Great Commission by faithfully telling others about the gospel, studying the Bible together, worshiping together, doing good works (Ephesians 2:10, Titus 2:14), and living worthy of the calling we have received, all the while eagerly anticipating the return of Jesus. We recognize we do none of this as consistently or as perfectly as we would like, but we continue to seek the filling of the Holy Spirit so we may do a better job of representing to the world the gospel and our Lord Jesus Christ.
