ministries @ pineview

The Great Commission is clear in its command to take the gospel message to all people. As a congregation, we endeavor to fulfill that command by ministering to the needs of our church family in various ways. We offer mid-week ministries for adults, teens and elementary school age children; monthly Women's Fellowship Group and Sunday morning kids' sermons as part of our weekly worship service.

Serving the needs of others outside of our congregation is also important to fulfilling our call to reach the world. In the past few years these ministries have included: making blankets for the homeless in Flint; sending a work team to Haiti to serve at an orphanage; spending time at an Operation Christmas Child processing center in Baltimore, sewing a quilt and donating it to the Northern MI Relief Sale, and collecting shoes to donate to Haiti.

Kidzlife & teen time

We have a mid-week school ministry on Wednesday evenings, with christian education curriculum for our elementary students and teenage students. There are games, activities and fresh hot popcorn too!

In 2018, a youth mentoring ministry was introduced to help build multi-generational friendships within our congregation.

Saturday morning outreach

On the fourth Saturday of every month, volunteers from Pineview Mennonite Church travel to B Light Restoration ministries in Flint, MI. The group serves warm breakfast to the homeless.
